Some factors that could lead to the occurrence of type 2 diabetes

Type 2 diabetes develops when the body becomes resistant to insulin or when the pancreas stops producing enough insulin. Surely what this happens is unknown, but it seems that excess weight and lack of physical activity also appears to be a factor contributing to the diabetes type 2. Below this may be several factors that can increase the risk of type 2 diabetes:

1. Fat, if you often eat foods that contain lots of fat and your body stores more fat then the risk of type 2   diabetes also increases.
2. Age, after age 40 the risk of type 2 diabetes increases with age, but now of type 2 diabetes is also increasing among children, adolescents, and young adults.
3. Physical activity, if you are less active risk of type 2 diabetes are also getting bigger, physical activity can help control your blood sugar (glucose) and helps the body to burn fat.
4. Race, although it is unclear why, but the people of certain races are predisposed to type 2 diabetes.
5. Heredity or family history, people with diabetes are more at risk families affected by diabetes than in people who do not have children with diabetes.
6. Pradiabetes, pradiabetes is a condition where blood sugar is higher than normal but not including type 2 diabetes, and if it is not treated immediately it will develop into type 2 diabetes.
7. Cholesterol, although not everyone with high cholesterol levels affected by diabetes, but some people affected by type 2 diabetes also have high cholesterol levels.

And of course it all can happen due to diet and unhealthy lifestyle, and therefore what if you experience some of the factors above should consult with a healthcare provider you trust to get the best treatment and avoid the risk of type 2 diabetes.
